In Which Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse Catch A Fish Called Wayne

One-of-a-kind, original artwork, 2025

30 x 21.5cm

Paper, PVA, thread

Hand-stitched collage, intended for ‘Civilisation’, the Barbican Library exhibition in August 2025, but unfinished at the time of installation.

Made by stitching Bob Mortimer, Paul Whitehouse and a fish (photo by John Bailey, Gone Fishing, Blink Publishing, 2019) to a page (with a detail from The Hay Wain by John Constable, 1821, National Gallery, London) from a posh art magazine I took from the bin at work about 10 years ago.

Private collection.
